Huis Marseille, Museum for Photography is the oldest photography museum in Amsterdam, opened in 1999. Huis Marseille was the first photography museum in the Netherlands when it opened in 1999.

To celebrate its 25th year anniversary, we've collaborated to create something truly special. Taking inspiration from the historic building, the vibrant herbaceous garden and the old ties to the sea trade, we've developed an olfactory scent that welcomes you the moment you step into the museum.

Top notes of citrusy grapefruit, followed by rich woody notes derived from of the real splinters of 17th Century beams from the original building, fresh oakmoss wrapped with soft floral notes of jasmine and earthy french cypress. It's a little piece of Huis Marseille.

Our candles are made from rapeseed wax and are all hand-poured into beautiful recycled amber glass jars in our small studio in Amsterdam. The candles emit a warming glow and work well in everyone’s interior. Our lids are tinware and our packaging is 100% plastic-free. All our products are natural, vegan and handmade in The Netherlands.

Ingredients: 100% natural rapeseed wax, essential oils, paraben free botanical fragrances and cotton wick.

Burn time: 45-50 Hours

Size: 170ml. This is our best-selling size, and is perfect to place on your coffee table, sideboard, countertop, nightstand - anywhere, really.
